Using a closed loop control system
A closed loop control system is a system that can adjust itself according to existing feedback. This is in contrast to an open loop control system, which does not incorporate feedback to make adjustments. One example of how a closed loop control system works would be the interaction between a heater in a room and the person who controls the heater. To start the interaction, the person adjusts the heater to a certain temperature. If the person does not like that temperature, she can adjust the heater’s temperature again until she gets her desired room temperature. In this case, the current room temperature provides feedback to the controller (the person in the room). You can see this illustrated in the third example template below.
