As you continue working in Lucidchart, you can save time by adding fields that automatically update as you continue working in the document.

For example, in the top right corner of my document, I've inserted fields that automatically update with the person who last made changes, when those changes were last made, and automatically updated page numbers. To do this, simply click on "Insert" in the menu bar and view the different options you have to insert. In this case, I'm going to select "last modified," "date," and "time" and select the format. It will, by default, fill a text box that you can move and position anywhere onto your canvas. If you'd like the field to fill a shape, simply click and drag that shape onto the canvas, delete the current text, and then select "Insert" and insert the type of content that you would like to add.

In addition to being able to add last modified by and the last person who made changes to your document, you can also have elements be filled with lorem ipsum. For example, when you're working on a wireframe or web page, as well as page number, page name, and page count. For when you're ready to download go ahead and give it a try!
